Job Description:
Job Summary:
Responsible for the coordination and communication of various productions, entertainment and special events.

Qualifications:
* College degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field preferred.
* Minimum of 1-2 years Casino experience preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, oral and written, a must.
* Proficient with computers and applicable software, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
* Detail oriented, critical thinking and problem-solving skills a must.
* Must have well-developed interpersonal skills and be a team-player.

Essential Job Functions:
* Maintains calendar of all scheduled entertainment and special events and ensures files are in order and contain the proper information.
* Becomes knowledgeable and stays up-to-date on the property and all facilities in order to assist guests with directions, information, promotions, events and emergency situations.
* Coordinates various productions with emphasis on script development, production and maintaining professionalism in the work place.
* Assures effective communications are maintained within areas of responsibility by informing employees of plans and progress and conducting employee discussion sessions at regular intervals.
* Within areas of responsibility, resolves problems that may occur. Communicates resolution to Special Events Supervisor.
* Coordinates approved events with emphasis on quality, as well as remaining within budgetary guidelines.
* Participates in and monitors events overall. Ensures objectives are being met.
* Maintains open communication between departments and coordinates departmental roles in events.
* Compiles updates and monitors various financial reports. Explains discrepancies to supervisor.
* Assists Special Events Supervisor in the preparation of submissions required by the Indiana Gaming Commission concerning special events.
* Assists with operations of major special events, as necessary.

Qualifications:
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
* Must be able to work independently.
* Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (minimum of 4 hours).
* Must be fluent and literate in English.
* Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions, when handling conflicts.
* Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and the ability to maneuver from floor to floor, either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
* Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, push, pull, as well as lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
* Responds to visual and aural cues.
* Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
* Must be able to tolerate various external temperatures and weather conditions; 100 degrees plus during summer events and outings and 50 degrees or less during winter events and outings.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
* Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
