Horseshoe Southern Indiana is owned and operated by Harrah's Entertainment. Job Summary:
Provide excellent guest service to Total Rewards Members.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Must be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm and possess basic knowledge of how to operate a computer.
* A minimum of one-year previous customer service experience preferred.
* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and be a team player.
Essential Job Functions:
* Provides excellent guest service to all guests and Total Rewards members.
* Builds and maintains database through club membership. Redeems credits for gifts and other amenity items.
* Provides guests with promotional information.
* Communicates the benefits of the Total Rewards program.
* Cross sells property events (shows, promotions) and amenities (hotel, restaurants, etc.).
* Resolves guest/member issues and uses service recovery tools in accordance with the department and property standards.
* Creates exciting atmosphere for guests, following all Spotlight behaviors.
* Makes suggestions to improve customer service within the department.
* Maintains confidentiality of all matters regarding guests and the business operation.
* Complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
* Must be able to work independently.
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time (minimum of three-four hours).
* Must be fluent and literate in English.
* Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
* Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 15 lbs.
* Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
* Responds to visual and aural cues.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
* Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
