Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Monitors and managers the daily slot floor and beverage operations including supervising all front line slot and beverage operations personnel.
* Property schedules employees to ensure that the highest levels of guest service are delivered while maintaining labor expenditures.
* Constantly monitors daily labor to volume metrics and makes staffing adjustments as necessary.
* Develops employees through training, coaching, empowerment, evaluating performance, recognition and administering disciplinary actions; motivates employees through leading by example, creating a shared vision, displaying integrity, sound decision making skills, being fair and consistent in execution of his/her daily duties.
* Thorough and complete knowledge of all internal controls, Illinois Gaming Board rules, company regulations and policies including Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively techniques and Currency Transaction Reporting laws. (MTL/CTR/W2G)
* Is able to generate and review all necessary paperwork for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
* Thorough knowledge of various types of slot machines, their functions, malfunctions and payout schedules.
* Observes verifiers, supervises and countersigns all hand paid jackpots.
* Oversees all jackpots, ticket fills, identifies attempts to cheat or damage slot machines and irregularities.
* Thorough and complete knowledge of all beverage dispensing systems and point of sale accounting systems; maintains appropriate/accurate inventories of liquor and supplies, accurate food beverage cost controls.
* Maintains a comfortable, clean, organized and safe environment for internal and external guests; consistently displays an attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic attitude
* Fosters a culture of fun, excitement and high-energy, while prioritizing service to differentiate service by tier.
* Provides fast flawless and exceptional service on a consistent basis; creates opportunities to talk to guests by promoting products and services, anticipates needs and following up on requests.
* Individuals must be able to perform all technical functions of the slot host job and beverage employee requirements.
* Communicates and works well with support departments to achieve property and department goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
* Strong and sincere guest services orientation; must possess leadership skills and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Preferred experience includes, but is not limited to strong knowledge of slot operations, internal procedures, abbreviations and codes.
* Knowledge of food service standards, wine varietals and wine service.
* Be creative, self-motivated, possess rudimentary scheduling skills.
* Be able to foster teamwork as well as possess a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends
* Must have no more than 3 attendance points.
* Must pass SuperLAP assessment.

JOB DEMANDS:
* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 75lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.
* Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.
* Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
