With over 100,000 square feet of casino space, 6 restaurants, and live entertainment it is the place to be in the Philly area and the "largest development project in Delaware County". Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Serves as a dynamic and energetic leader, while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.
* Establishes self as highly credible leader with highest levels of integrity, and always acts in the best interests of the property and the company.
* Acts as a role model and coach while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.
* Ensures that team members clearly understand and are held accountable for their performance expectations.
* Provides appropriate recognition and rewards to individuals and groups when consistent superior performance is attained.
* Works as a change agent and challenges the departmental processes to improve and streamline department operations, through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness and value.
* Demonstrates excellent facilitator skills in resolving conflicts between different points of view.
* Demonstrates leadership skills in determining a vision, aligns and inspires the team to achieve the vision.
* Partners and Coordinates with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment, by well-trained, motivated employees.
* Embraces, role models and implements all elements of our customer service program including Total Service, Spotlight on Success and Buzz Sessions, and tier prioritized service.
* Recommends and implements change to improve overall employee and guest satisfaction.
* Establishes and endorses the business objectives, ethics and values of Harrah’s Entertainment Inc. in accordance with the Code of Commitment.
* Responsible for directing the culinary and restaurant functions.
* Synthesizes personal and team members’ experience to provide a World Class service & F&B experience throughout property.
* Analyzes current food trends to determine viability of the operation.
* Analyzes and understands market research as it applies to the food operation.
* Assists in developing long-range planning goals for the restaurant operations.
This includes capital needs based upon new technology; manpower needs (for the company and the individuals); product needs (addressing quality, availability and pricing) that will provide for continual growth of the operation.
* Passionately pursues profitable revenue growth.
* Researches, develops and implements procedures impacting the direction of restaurant operations.
* Delivers clear direction to the staff regarding the current and future objectives of restaurant operations.
* Ensures that all facilities, equipment and work areas are maintained in a sanitary condition and operating as per health codes.
* Interacts with guests as a representative of Harrah’s.
* Responsible for the creation and execution of the budget for culinary and restaurant operations.
* Develops and delivers the strategies needed for realizing the budget.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
* Formal culinary training or comparable work experience.
* College degree preferred.
* Five plus years in culinary or food and beverage management; experience at executive leadership level strongly preferred.
* Strong planning, organizational, managerial and communication skills.
* Experience in leading entire food & beverage operation is strongly preferred.
* Able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
* Is fluent on Microsoft Office software products, and is viewed as an outstanding team player.
* Is able to work in smoke filled environment.
* Must be able to obtain a “Key” license through the state of Pennsylvania.
