Job Description
The candidate’s focus will be to manage the Global Public Relations (Corporate & Consumer) in the implementation & management of the public image of one of our clients, the second largest online poker site in the world and its endorsed poker pros.

The successful candidate will initially work in tandem with the current Head of Global Public Relations Consultant. The candidate will require a tremendous attention to detail and multitasking abilities, managing global Public Relations initiatives, including on-the ground events, online PR initiatives, European (and other international) television events, and various sponsored/ tournament events.

In addition, this candidate will be heavily involved in working with ten Country Managers, three international PR firms, the Head of SEO, the Copy Team, various Marketing departments (online and offline,) and the Player Liaison department.

Great writing skills are essential, as well as an understanding of the management of a corporate image of an international company and the to business success. corporate image of an international company and the various international cultures involved.

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
* Building on, and expanding a Global PR structure/strategy, managing the public relations in various international territories as they align with the corporate mission.
* Analysis and monitoring of PR performance.
* Working with the copy team and legal team drafting and distributing press releases, and public statement.
* Managing the existing media database and cultivation of existing and new media contacts.
* Pitching the company and the pros for interviews and media coverage.
* Securing media exclusives and PR partnerships with the press
* Working with various departments to support and ensure efficient and effective marketing & communications in all territories, across all lines including online, offline, ground events, print and television.

Skills / Experience Required – a combination of the following:
* Bachelor's degree
* Microsoft Word, Excel experience
* Strong copy writing, proofing and information distribution skills
* Experience in dealing with multiple cultures and languages
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently
* Ability to create and manage procedures and processes, while working with various departments and companies in various time zones.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
* Attention to detail, especially in an online environment
* Fluency in the English language
* Understanding of SEO needs and communications analysis
* Multiple project management skills
* Experience in the management of PR for television production, working in tandem with various, international production companies and broadcasters
* Ability to pro-actively manage corporate and pro positioning at international events and tournaments.
* Strong event management experience
* A minimum of four years PR experience
* In house PR firm experience, online experience and/or a second language a plus.
* The ability to travel is essential.
* Ability to be on call 24 hours per day due to various time zones (rare)
* Knowledge of poker is desirable, although not essential.
