Job Description
Our client is a rapidly growing online-community with over 2,000,000 members. They are the worldwide leading poker school and operate in 14 languages.
Your Job Profile
You will be responsible for all e-mails that our client sends to their members - ranging from the automated 'Welcome' e-mail to large-scale newsletters. Your efforts will bring structure to the wide field of our clients dozens of different e-mail types.
As a team player, you will be working in close cooperation with their IT, Customer Service and Product Development. You will coordinate their external e-mail service providers and make sure that all e-mails get to their customers on time.
The quality control of both content and mailing to the correct target groups will lie in your hands. To this end you will not only ensure that e-mail providers display mails in the correct format, but will also concern yourself with any technical mailing problems.
You will analyse and report on the success of the previous newsletter and provide important input on improvements regarding content, target groups and the entire e-mail process.
Your Responsibilities
* Responsibility for all event triggered emails
* Responsibility for all newsletters
* Coordination & communication with external email service providers
* Control and analysis of delivery, open and click-through rates
Professional Profile
* Perfect written & spoken English and/or German [ideally both]
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Enjoyment of team work and open communications
* A demonstrable attitude of excellent service towards our community and other corporate divisions
* Adherence to format specifications and other standards
* Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Word & Excel
Beneficial Attributes
* Practical/professional experience in a comparable position
* Degree in the fields of marketing or CRM
* Working knowledge of HTML for the formatting of texts
* Enjoyment of online communities & our product
* Experience with content management systems
* Interest in the field of conversion optimisation
