Job Description:
Job Summary: Provides Food and Beverage service to guests located at the venue assigned while ensuring all guests receive quality guest service.
Qualifications:
* High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
* Minimum 1 year as a food server in a high volume restaurant preferred.
* Ability to use cash register with POS software.
* Lift, carry and balance up to a minimum of 25 lbs for entire shift.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Basic reading, writing, mathematical skills.
* Must be a team player.
* Able to consistently meet Appearance Standards.
Essential Functions:
* Receives food and beverage orders from guests.
* Process order via cash register with POS software. Handles cash, comp and credit transactions.
* Prepares food and beverage orders for eat-in and/or carry out.
* Adheres to the department standards for health and safety.
* Learns all stations of the venue including kitchen and preparation of all items on menu.
* Verify receipts and maintains correct bank balance for venue.
* Pre-bus tables in accordance with departmental procedures.
* Perform side work as assigned.
* Gives breaks to fellow attendants.
* Any and all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
* Must be able to work independently.
* Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, minimum of 6-8 hrs.
* Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (a minimum of 20 steps) or by escalator.
* Responds to visual and aural cues.
* Must be fluent and literate in English.
* Must be able to stoop, bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.
* Must have the manual dexterity to grab, grip, hold, pour, tear, cut, sort and reach.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying temperatures of heat and humidity, second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
* Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
