Job Description:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Follows policies and procedures to insure safe and efficient parking and retrieval of guests’ vehicles.
* Handles guests’ vehicles safely and cautiously at all times.
* Maintains proper key controls.
* Ensures parking tickets have been completed correctly.
* Offers information to guests regarding directions, transportation, promotions and Total Rewards.
* Responsible for money handling.
* Assist the bell hop with patron’s luggage.
* Assist with patron’s luggage and deliver to their hotel rooms.
* Maintains neat and clean appearance, and treats guests and co-workers courteously at all times.
* Presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
* Must assist patrons in answering questions and directing them to areas of safety during emergencies as directed by management, security, or marine crew members.
* Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
PHYSICAL - Must be able to:
* Tolerate all types of weather conditions.
* Walk and/or run to or from valet booth to valet parking area in a quick and efficient manner.
* Hear. Can be augmented with a hearing aid.
* See.
* Drive all types of vehicles.
* Climb steps repeatedly.

MENTAL - Must be able to:
* Communicate directly with management, staff and guests
* Read, write and comprehend.
* Understand and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions.
* Must be able to work under stressful conditions.

PREREQUISITES/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Must have and hold a state issued Driver’s License and have a clean M.V.R. for 2 year period (no at-fault accidents). Valet parking and office/cashiering experience helpful. Must have excellent customer service and organizational skills. Must have a neat and clean appearance and mature attitude.

GAMING:
Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS: 21 years of age
