Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Manages all aspects of slot, table games, and beverage operations for Harrah’s Joliet creating a differentiated service experience and ensuring optimum performance of all.
* Achieves desired results in all areas of responsibility through staff development and training programs, established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high quality service.
* Monitors results through inspection, evaluation and analysis.
* Makes changes if necessary to achieve end results.
* Management accountability for all team members for day to day and long term operations to include hiring, training and developing employees which includes coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation.
* Responsible for staffing and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Responsible for overall department budgets, profit and loss statements, cost analysis, labor analysis, planning and promotions.
* Familiarization with all Harrah’s Brand programs and systems.
* Responsible for the overall integrity of daily operations, ensures compliance with all regulatory, internal control, and policies and feedback, and responding to guest concerns appropriately and professionally to resolve any issues.
* Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.
* Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
* College degree preferred.
* Five (5) years progressively more challenging leadership role, casino operations preferred.
* Ability to understand and analyze Budget & P&L statements.
* Proven time management and critical thinking skills required.
* Must possess excellent employee relations skills.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends
* Must have no more than 3 attendance points
* Must pass ManagerLAP assessment.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS:
* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 75lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Must be fluent and literate in English.
* Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.
* Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
