JOB SUMMARY:
Greets customers and provides food and beverage service during banquet functions.

DUTIES:
* Greets customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Load food trays for delivery to banquet functions
* Services food to banquet customers
* Take and fill beverage orders
* Replenish beverages as required
* Removes all empty and used tableware, cutlery
* Stocks work stations
* Polishes cutlery
* Performs other related tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
* 6 months previous banquet or food & beverage serving experience
* Grade 12 or equivalent
* Ability to carry a tray overhead
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
* Must be able to work all shifts
* Frequent medium lifting required

NOTES:
Please note: This position requires Smart Serve certification. If you are not certified within your 20 day probation period you will be deemed not qualified. The company will provide Smart Service training to you if you are the successful candidate on this posting prior to starting in this position.
