Job Description:
Develops and coordinates the planning calendar of key deadlines. Quarterly and Monthly Reviews: prepares weekly forecasts, trend analysis and labor analysis. Continually evaluates and monitors Harrah’s activity and financial performance to ensure that goals and plans are achieved. Gathers and analyzes data to provide management with meaningful reports. Develops, maintains and enhances spreadsheets and databases. Performs analysis on gaming, food, labor, and beverage operations in addition to other ad hoc analysis. Communicates clearly: orally and through written analysis, charts & graphs. Assists in design and preparation of presentations. Prepares historical performance analysis and appropriate summaries. Monitors capital plans and forecasts. Assists with gathering information and performing analyses of on going property operations for timely presentation to management. Assists with preparation and implementation of annual capital and operations plans including entry of data to the system. Assists with special projects as assigned. Prepares marketing financial analysis inclusive of: junkets, special events, player development and new business programs on a timely basis. Compiles and maintains data related to complimentary usage including exception reporting. Assists with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or Administration in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA a plus. Work experience in an analytical role in planning & analysis, management consulting, and/or finance preferred. Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear and friendly manner. Strong writing skills and business acumen. Strong Excel and Access and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Hyperion/Essbase a plus. Knowledge of gaming industry preferred. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance. This is an entry-level planning & analysis position. Must be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee License.
