Job Description:
This position reports to the Manager of VIP Capabilities and is responsible for managing and executing multiple VIP capability initiatives including SMART development and enhanced VIP daily and monthly reporting. In addition, the VIP Marketing Specialist will assist the manager of VIP Capabilities in identifying, managing, implementing and supporting other key VIP capability initiatives that will prove beneficial to the company. This position also involves providing ongoing support to the properties via the SMART support box.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Include the following:
* Responsible for completing various Salesforce.com projects managed by VIP Marketing. Duties include, but are not limited to, configuration changes to the SMART application as well as implementation of enhancements captured directly by the property users thru the Ideas app.
* Advisor for the creation of training materials to rollout new capabilities. Additionally, Specialist will be responsible for insuring training and online guides are updated accordingly as enhancements are made to the system.
* Manage the support box for Salesforce.com applications created and administered by VIP Marketing. This involves serving as a liaison between property and the corporate I.T., when appropriate, to handle and resolve all issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Assist in the development roadmap for new tools and capabilities. Specialist will partner with the Manager of VIP Performance and the I.T. Innovation team to construct a plan based on the needs of the property and the anticipated future tools.
* Monitor usage and adoption of tools, make adjustments as needed to enhance the user experience.
* Other duties are assigned as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must possess highly developed analytical skills and the ability to think creatively about ways to develop capabilities
* Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously at various stages of development.
* Must be technically skilled and have and have experience using data analysis tools.
* Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to co-workers and clients.
* Good writing and communication skills, able to comfortably communicate at all levels of the organization.
* Must have a full understanding and a level of expertise with standard Microsoft Office software.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
2+ years work experience as a software developer, architect, or product manager for relevant web technologies. Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or similar technical disciplines preferred. Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills. Experience with Salesforce.com or other cloud computing experience a strong plus but not required.
