Job Description:
SUMMARY:
To provide front line support for all hardware and software issues for front of the house and back of the house.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to trouble calls property wide. Responsible for prioritizing of trouble calls. Responsible for daily survey of IS equipment and it’s functionality. Monitors critical systems and keeps accurate logs. Runs Caribbean Stud daily reports for auditing. Backs up data on Caribbean Stud daily. Runs nightly meal reports for finance. Will work on tasks that have been assigned by a System Engineer. All other duties assigned.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/JOB DIMENSIONS:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Horseshoe from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employee with irregular attendance will be subject to Horseshoe disciplinary action procedures up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Horseshoe policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of Company facilities. Employees who violates company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MCSE certification preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations required.
