Horseshoe Southern Indiana is owned and operated by Harrah's Entertainment. As the world's largest riverboat casino with over 90,000 sf of gaming action, we're located just 20 minutes from downtown Louisville, Kentucky and situated in Elizabeth, Indiana (Harrison County). The property is just 10 minutes south of New Albany, Indiana on Hwy 111.

Job Description:
Job Summary: Provides for food and beverage distribution and maintenance for both employee dining rooms (vessel and land). Maintains cleanliness in all areas of the employee dining rooms.

Qualifications:
* High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Able to consistently meet Appearance Standards.
* Demonstrate ability to exercise good judgment.
* Must be a team player.

Essential Functions:
* Keeps service stations and eating areas clean.
* Helps to restock service areas and guest areas.
* Cleans tables, chairs, service areas, self-bussing areas and floors.
* Prepares daily requisition of par stock items and supplies.
* Provides guest service to employees using dining room.
* Transports food and stock from land to vessel via flat bed carts.
* Responsible for sanitation in employee dining room.
* Any and all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Physical, Mental, & Environmental Demands:
* Must be able to work independently.
* Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, minimum of 4-6 hrs.
* Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (a minimum of 20 steps), elevator or by escalator.
* Responds to visual and aural cues.
* Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift, carry and pull a minimum of 25 lbs.
* Must have the manual dexterity to grab, grip, hold, pour, wipe, sweep, mop, tear, cut, sort and reach.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
* Must be able to work a varied schedule, holidays and weekends as requested.

Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:
Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission
