Job Description:
Provide training, coaching and counseling to staff members who are not achieving service and performance standards, and discipline and terminate employment when necessary. Assist with the preparation of the budget for the front desk. Establish and manage reports and systems to monitor actual expenses compared to the budget, and take corrective action when necessary to remain within budget. Decide when variances to the budget are required and provide necessary cost/benefit justification. Assist with business volume forecasts. Schedule staff in accordance with business volume forecasts, monitor labor expenses compared to forecasts, and make necessary adjustments to schedules in order to meet business demand and budgeted expenses. Complete or supervise the completion of required business reports and audit procedures. Respond and resolve customer complaints, including the execution of the 100% guarantee. Research and resolve guest billing inquiries and disputes. Administer company policies in a fair and consistent manner. Respond and resolve employee issues, including the proper administration of any collective bargaining agreements. Assist with guest registration and check out during unusual circumstances, absenteeism or an unusual influx in business in order to maintain customer service levels.
