Job Summary: Provides administrative and clerical support to the Leisure Sales Department. Demonstrates professional and timely service to internal and external customers. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions: Responsible for the coordination of all facets of the domestic and Canadian wholesale tour operator as well as the citywide convention market segments to assist the department in achieving occupancy and revenue goals. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to implementing rate changes and stop sells for all Las Vegas and Laughlin properties, arranging site visits, making VIP reservations for rooms, restaurants, shows and limousine requirements, shipping requirements for trade shows, resolving accounting disputes, resolving customer complaints, as well as all other requirements prior to and during customer stays at any of our seven Las Vegas properties. The coordinator must interface on a continual basis with both external clients and internal departments, including but not limited to room reservations, front desk, bell desk, accounting and food & beverage.

The Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of correspondence, award letters, reports, contracts, addendums, direct bill applications and all other documents and forms required to appropriately service the domestic and Canadian wholesale market segments, as well as citywide conventions. The Coordinator must serve as the liaison between three Sales Managers and the Director of Leisure and Citywide Sales and external clients, interfacing with all guests in a professional and pleasant manner. The position is responsible for handling heavy phone volume, facilitating site inspections, and attending meetings. Candidate must maintain comprehensive records and become proficient in using the hotel and sales department systems. Candidate must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.

Qualifications:
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent is required. Previous hotel secretarial or administrative experience is preferred. The ability to type 60 wpm is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft software to include Word, Excel, and Outlook required, as well as Delphi, LMS and Showcase hotel programs. Must have proven accountability when working with confidential information. Must possess excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must be open to some traveling outside of the office, in town and out of town on occasion.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands: Must be able to continuously maneuver around office area and throughout the hotel/casino property. Must be able to bend, couch, kneel, lift, twist, and work at desk and around offices when performing receptionist functions. Respond to visual aural cues. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to operate keyboard, telephone, computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Must have manual dexterity to operate the computer and necessary office equipment. Must be able to acknowledge, greet, and converse in English.
