Job Description:
Position Summary:
Manages the NCM Coordinator and relationships with Branch and Independent Reps.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for the expansion and growth of national casino business by providing the highest level of outstanding customer service. Has knowledge of departmental budgeting, strategic planning, interpreting monthly profit and loss statements, and quarterly and yearly reporting. Develops financial and business operating plans. Handles monthly invoices to include commissions payable to Independent Marketing Representatives. Job requires sound decision making with regards to customer comp incentives, problem solving and excellent communication skills along with maintaining confidentiality of sensitive customer information. Must be able to build, maintain relationships and work closely with Branch Office and Independent Marketing Reps. Maintains high-level contact and rapport with Branch Office and Reps to ensure repeat business. Constantly looks for avenues to ensure unique and memorable events for NCM customers. Oversees an extensive Commercial Seat Block Program that is used as a vehicle to transport Harrah’s Brand customers to Harrah’s NKC. Coordinates and manages direct mail to fill NKC regional flight seat blocks. Supervises the creation of all the reservation templates associated with the flights and manages them during the booking process to provide the best yield for the aircraft. Coordinates with branch offices, Junket Representatives and VIP services the management of seat blocks for all charters. Analyzes financial data and makes recommendations for maximized growth in load factor and theoretical per seat. Completes weekly forecasting for Air Program Measurements. Constantly searching for and hiring additional Independent Reps to add to the sales force team to promote Harrah’s NKC. Provides direction and support for all staff to achieve Harrah’s NKC goals and objectives through the fair application of all policies and procedures. Strives to improve and streamline departmental operations, through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness/value. Must be able to build, maintain relationships and work closely with other internal departments that play a vital role with NCM business. Allocates resources to outlets that create value to our guests and to Harrah’s. Provides appropriate recognition and rewards to individuals and groups when consistent superior performance is attained. Ensures that each team member clearly understands and is held accountable for their respective performance expectations. Helps to maintain and enhance a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees. Assists Vice President with the promotion of business as necessary. Keeps abreast of competitors’ gaming customer programs and monitors their effectiveness. Ensures the timely implementation and completion of projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills & Education Preferred:
* College degree in Business Administration, Sales, or equivalent area is preferred
* Five-seven years of experience in gaming, marketing, or public relations with two to three years in a supervisory capacity required
* Must have good administrative and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move in and around quickly on the casino floor. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast paced environment. Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, and balance. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke. Able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized and pay attention to details. Able to work the following equipment: computer, telephones, copier, 10 key adding machine, fax, typewriter. Must have manual dexterity to operate the computer and necessary office equipment.

Licensing and Certification Required:
Employees may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license. The initial license is paid for by the employee through payroll deduction. All subsequent renewals for the license are paid by Harrah’s North Kansas City.
