Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Assists Manager in accomplishing departmental goals and objectives.
* Coordinates all Customer Safety activity on an assigned shift.
* Monitors incident reports ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Initiates investigatory process when appropriate.
* Monitors all court appearances relating to assigned shift.
* Prepares work schedules and special details pertaining to shift.
* Maintains payroll records.
* Personally responsible for all compliance matters pertaining to Customer Safety.
* Trains and coordinates staff to ensure compliance on all related policies.
* Lead shift Buzz sessions in a motivational and inspiring manner.
* Ability to successfully handle conflict management.
* Complete performance appraisals in an accurate and timely manner.
* Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
* Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.
* Performs all related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS:
* 21 years of age or older required.
* High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
* Three years previous supervisory experience preferred.
* A minimum 18 months of Security experience preferred.
* Retail Loss prevention experience preferred.
* Investigative experience preferred.
* Must be customer service orientated.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Must have strong supervisory with guest service skills.
* Must have passed SuperLAP assessment.
* CPR/AED certification preferred / willing to obtain certification within 6 months.
* Must be willing and able to work long hours as needed including nights, holidays and weekends.
* Must have no more than 3 attendance points.

JOB DEMANDS:
* Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers and employees
* Ability to communicate one-on-one and to groups to explain policies and procedures to persuade others to accept or adopt a specific opinion or action
* Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns
* Must be able to work in areas containing noisy environments
* Must have physical ability to walk 5+ miles during a work day and be capable of standing during the length of one’s shift
* Be able to lift twenty (20) pounds and push wheelchairs up and down ramps
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to push, pull, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, and balance when maneuvering in the work area
* Ability to stand an walk for entire shift and mobility to move easily around entire property
* Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, temperature levels, illumination, vibration, and crowds
