Director, Casino Marketing - 009797Position Summary
Director, Casino Marketing is responsible for the development of creative and innovative marketing initiatives and programs to assist the business units to achieve its annual revenue and EBITDA targets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive and direct all casino mass marketing programs within the annual Business Plan ensuring effective and efficient utilisation of expenditure which assists the achievement of revenue targets
- Develop and implement casino marketing programs and initatives which drive gaming revenue and amrket share for both tables and slots
- Manage all aspects of the annual Casino Marketing budget and provide accurate monthly forecasts
- Oversee Mass Market Casino related events, promotions, loyalty marketing and the patron shuttle bus program to drive premium and mass market visitation to the complex and drive gaming revenue
- Assist in the development of new and creative copy, collateral, and casino marketing pieces to keep property fresh and competitive
- Support various non-COD casino marketing efforts (retail and entertainment). Maintain consistency of all property efforts
- Focus on helping establishing the CoD Brand and implementing resources to effectively support its visibility and value
- Assist in the yield management for gaming hotel rooms to achieve desired occupancy, ADR and Win per unit
- Focus on casino marketing initiatives including events, promotions, customer prospecting / development / retention
- Understand needs of different market segments (e.g. Group business, business travel, leisure/FIT travel, casino, wholesale/internet, etc.) and work effectively with other Divisions to develop strategies/programs as appropriate to maximize hotel’s profitability
- Respond effectively to internal audit reports and recommendation
- Review customer database - effectiveness, accuracy/currency of data and growth
- Meet the customer. Personally interact with customers when possible. Know what the customer thinks and build rapport so customers provide feedback for improvement of hotel offerings and service
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven extensive experience in marketing in preferably the gaming, or hospitality environment at a senior level
- Proven experience in marketing within an Asian market
- Pre-opening experience advantageous
- Tertiary Qualifications in marketing
- English language skills mandatory, Cantonese and/or Mandarin desirable
