Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal guests by displaying Spotlight on Success behaviors and FOCUS skills. Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Utilizes smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins. Is ready to serve and well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs and any other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs of the guest and provides fast, flawless service. Executes all service programs to assure prioritization of service to very best guests. Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Promotes Total Rewards programs and Total Rewards registration and membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Promotes Harrah’s and always projects Harrah’s in a positive light to guests
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all slot equipment.
* Performs repairs, overhauls, and preventative maintenance, including cleaning, on all slot machines on property.
* Performs the initial set-up and check-out of new slot machines.
* Responsible for the break-down, relocation, and set-up of relocated slot machines and stands.
* Responds to slot machines in a timely manner to resolve guest complaints regarding technical problems with slot machines.
* Verifies that all slot games communicate accurately with internal systems for accounting purposes; researches and resolves issues that arise with same.
* Notifies Slot Performance Supervisor and/or Slot Performance Manager of pertinent issues, as needed.
* Maintains slot floor security by notifying department management of any suspicious activity.
* Maintains working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and attendant regulations as well as company internal controls.
* Participates in slot department special projects in a team environment by interpreting gaming documents, gathering materials necessary to complete the project, including RAM clears, key chipping, machine moves, conversions, and upgrades.
* Maintains a working knowledge of all games in order to perform repairs and/or preventative maintenance.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years slot maintenance and/or slot floor experience and/or related experience and training. Electronics experience and/or degree preferred. Minimum of one year slot maintenance experience preferred.
Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming license through the state of Pennsylvania.
