Job Description:
* Interact with guests at the Paula Deen Buffet, answering questions and assisting with their needs while using your best customer service skills.
* Maintain overall cleanliness of food stations. While maintaining cleanliness, stir dishes to maintain freshness.
* Notify cooks when items may need to be changed or refreshed.
* Work with Stewarding staff reporting any areas that need to be addressed from a cleanliness or safety perspective.
* Must maintain professional appearance at all times, staying upbeat and positive.
* Other duties assigned by Chef.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be FOCUS certified.
* Must pass audition for spotlight expectations.
* Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
* Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations. Must be able to interpret and apply technical instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
* Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

REASONING ABILITY:
* Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, establish and analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence.
* Ability to write basic correspondence.
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to guests, and other associates in the company.
* The Associate must frequently lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
