Job Description:
Job Summary: Plan, coordinate and execute special events and promotions for Harrah’s Laughlin.
Qualifications: Minimum of three years event experience must include: creating, planning and executing events and promotions in the casino industry. Previous experience in budgeting preferred.

Essential Job Functions: Responsible and accountable for executing all events and promotions for Harrah’s Laughlin Casino & Hotel. Coordinate and communicate successful execution of all events with involved departments. Develop proformas, event detail lists, and property communication materials and help post event analysis. Maintain events and promotions calendar; provide continual updates to all departments including Events and Promotions Manager. Maintain effective use of resources, scheduling, staff levels, capital purchases, etc.
Physical & Mental Demands: Must be able to maneuver in and around the office and various areas of the casino/hotel. Must have the ability to use phones. Must have the manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and necessary office equipment. Must be able to stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, twist, balance, lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Must be able to organize, sort and distribute written communications, form letters and other materials as needed. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Respond to visual or aural cues and anything else deemed necessary by Events and Promotions Manager.
