Job Description:
Job Summary:
Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude while answering all incoming calls to the property. Provides information on property amenities and events to callers. Answers questions and directs and connects calls to appropriate parties.

Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred
* Must have basic computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (word, excel, outlook).
* Must have good communication skills with the ability to clearly enunciate an extensive variety of information.
* Must be able to read and comprehend a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
* Previous related PBX experience preferred, but not required.
* Must be able to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues; learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
* Must enjoy communicating with guests and visitors.
* Must be a team player.

Essential Functions:
* Operates the PBX switchboard on assigned shift.
* Ensures all incoming calls are answered within three rings.
* Uses the guest/team member’s name if known at all times.
* Gives out information and directs calls to the appropriate extension within 40 seconds from the time the call is received.
* Maintains proper phone etiquette by being courteous and friendly to callers.
* Takes messages and/or page(s) Executives, staff members, and/or patrons as appropriate and necessary.
* Utilizes property radio system to contact various departments and staff.
* Responds to common inquiries or complaints.
* Learns and stays abreast of property, administrative, amenity and event information.
* Keeps updated on all new procedures.
* Follows all Company and Departmental policies and procedures.
* Reports any suspicious telephone activities to immediate supervisor.
* Understands and relays what actions are to be taken during an emergency, such as a bomb threat, fire, etc.
* Any and all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
* Must be able to work independently.
* Responds to visual and aural cues.
* Must be fluent and literate in English.
* Performs job tasks and remains vigilant in the case of an emergency.
* Must be able to sit for extended periods of time (minimum of 4-6 hours).
* Must have the manual dexterity to key in data and operate various office equipment, as well as a multi-line telephone system.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
* Must be able to work varied shifts, holidays and weekends as requested.
