Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Acknowledges and greets each guest with enthusiasm and prescribed terminology immediately upon the guests’ arrival.
* Executes four-star service by accurately transporting guests’ luggage to the room assigned after the registration process is completed.
* Picks up guests’ luggage upon departure and transports to form of transportation or delivers for storage.
* Provides “Fast and Flawless” guest service by providing guests with information regarding Hotel/Casino amenities, special events, and travel directions.
* Responsible for accurate and careful loading and unloading of guests’ luggage.
* Completes required room slip information and submits and forwards to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintains proper concierge rotation and records services performed.
* Assist guest with enthusiasm and accuracy when answering inquiries and ensures proper handling of Front Service phone calls.
* Performs daily supply checks, equipment checks, maintains equipment, and maintains supply logbook.
* Coordinates handling of all group tour luggage, accounting for luggage counts and proper luggage tagging.
* Is responsible for the luggage room and all the storage and retrieval of guest luggage.
* Receives calls and processes call efficiently and professionally.
* Responsible for accurate check-in and check-out
* Assist guests with room changes and maintains room key security.
* Assists guest by opening and closing doors and providing an enthusiastic welcome using first/last name as appropriate.
* Follows and ensures compliance with all established safety and security guidelines.
* Adheres to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
* Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same.
* Responsible for luggage room and all storage and retrieval of guest luggage.
* Completes all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Must genuinely like people and possess an outgoing personality.
* Must have the ability to easily converse with Guests and Coworkers.
* Ability to lift heavy luggage repeatedly (approximately 20 to 100+ LBS).
* Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Physical / Mental Demands:
* Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and employees.
* Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decision when handling customer needs and concerns.
* Must be able to work in areas containing a noisy environment.
* Must have physical ability to walk 5+ miles during a work day and be capable of standing during the length of one’s shift.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills.
* Ability to stand and walk for entire shift and mobility to move easily around entire property.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
