Job Description:
Essential job functions include:
Provides attendant parking service for guests.
* Parks vehicles of arriving guests and retrieves vehicles of departing guests in a safe and courteous manner.
* Opens vehicle doors and assists guests in stepping out of their vehicles.
* Greets guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
* Provides or obtains information requested by guests, within guidelines established by the supervisor.
* Memorizes accurate, current weather forecasts, road conditions and restrictions to inform guests, if requested.
* Observes assigned areas for any safety hazards or unauthorized tampering with or pilferage to parked vehicles or Harrah's facilities, and reports immediately any incidents or conditions to the Parking Shift Supervisor or Lead Parking Attendant.
* Watches for guests within the attendant parking area, and courteously explains the area is only open to authorized personnel.
* Reports any vehicular safety hazards to the supervisor.
* Attends the parking booth to ensure the security of guests' vehicle keys.
* Assists other Parking Lot Attendants in performing these duties.
* Assists guests with any parcels or luggage.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

EDUCATION: Possess a valid driver's license.

EXPERIENCE: Provide a current DMV printout, showing proof of a good driving record; prior guest service in a position of responsibility

ABILITIES:
* Operate vehicles with a variety of controls and transmissions in a safe, efficient manner.
* Possess the physical stamina to run throughout each shift, day after day.
* Ability to continually run up and down stairs in parking garage.
* Ability to memorize facts accurately.
* Maintain excellent guest service skills.
* Ability to push/pull luggage carts, load/unload luggage carts, smell, good distance/close vision, run
hear, talk, lift at least 100 lbs. and walk.
* Manual dexterity to include handling various keys, knobs, levers and buttons.
* Fluent and literate in Basic English.
* Ability to write legibly.
* Must be able to work in a “smoke filled” environment.
