Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
* Provides prompt, courteous beverage service to casino guests in designated gaming areas.
* Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks, writes checks for payment properly and presents drinks to guests.
* Accept payments and maintains accountability for all transactions and complimentary charges.
* Maintains a clean workstation.
* Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
* Provides personalized service and a great experience for every guest, every time through interaction and building relationships.
* Anticipates needs, provides fast, exceptional service and checks for satisfaction of guests.
* Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, and Casino Services Supervisors.
* Promotes casino events/services and promotional campaigns.
* Meeting attendance guidelines of the job and adhering to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Qualifications:
* Must be 21 years of age.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Cocktail or Waitperson experience preferred.
* Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
* Must pass background check, hair follicle drug test and MO Gaming License Process.
* Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
* Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
* Ability to carry and serve a tray of beverages weighing 10 pounds or more.
* Must be familiar with cocktail ingredients and able to stand for long periods of time.
* Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction required.
* Must be able to continuously and quickly maneuver around assigned areas for entire shift.
* Must have the dexterity to grip necessary items (Pens, glasses, garnishments, money, etc.).
* Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
* Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
* Responds to visual and aural cues.
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
