POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance of all local and regional accounts and the development of new customers. Directly responsible for the direct sales, service and telemarketing of the entire Ad Hoc Market including group leader, senior, corporate, social, government, association, bingo, fraternal and recreational groups outside of a 100 mile radius.

Job Description:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Service
* Conduct regular sales calls and attend blitzes, sales meetings, trade shows and community events.
* Customer presentations both written and oral.
* Develop and research all lead lists in areas as assigned (Nashville as primary market).
* Conduct familiarization tours on the property as needed and assigned by managers.
* Conduct follow-up phone calls and thank you letters to local group contacts, including customer surveys within the department.
* Actively participate in targeted chamber activities, hospitality organizations, special events, and club and association functions.
* Coordinate all trade show arrangements including registration, exhibitor set up, premiums, material delivery, travel plans and show follow-up.
* Assist with regular distribution of sales materials.
* Remain knowledgeable of all sales programs, special incentives and packages.
* Assist in all areas or within the department as needed.
* Must assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.

Reporting
* Develop weekly and monthly sales reports reflecting all sales activity and results.
* Develop customer service survey report from group customers.
* Develop personal sales goals and objectives that support the department sales plan.
* Prepare and maintain monthly schedule for management approval.
* Prepare all cost analysis reports for trade shows and promotional show expenses.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
PHYSICAL - Must be able to:
* Communicate on a constant basis with the general public and staff via, personal, telephone, and computer mailbox.
* Must have valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle.
* Must be able to hear. Can be augmented with a hearing aid.
* Must be able to see.
* Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
* Push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing five (5) pounds to fifteen (15) pounds.
* Climb stairs repeatedly.

MENTAL - Must be able to:
* Work accurately with basic math.
* Must be able to understand and communicate, verbally and written with management, staff and guests.
* Understand and comply with all policies and procedures, job description, daily memorandums, and other instructions.
* Must be able to work under stressful conditions.

Qualifications:
PREREQUISITES/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or GED equivalent. Minimum one (1) year experience in sales. Must have a polite personality and enjoy working with people. Excellent communication and organizational skills and prompt flexible hours and travel are required.

GAMING:
Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.
