Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and ensures a fun-filled, dynamic, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. Creates an operating environment of continuous improvement. Effective and positive partner with senior management and within management team. Serves as a dynamic, positive leader, while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. Acts as a role model and coach while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations. Ensures that team members clearly understand and are held accountable for their performance expectations. Provides appropriate recognition and rewards to individuals and groups when consistent superior performance is attained. Works as a change agent to improve and streamline department operations, through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness and value. Demonstrates excellent facilitator skills in resolving conflicts between different points of view. Demonstrates leadership skills in determining a vision, aligns and inspires the team to achieve the vision. Coordinates with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment, by well-trained, motivated employees. Recommends and implements change to improve overall employee and guest satisfaction. Develops and continually refines slot floor to maximize player loyalty and property financial performance. Participates in the overall property financial operating and capital planning processes and makes recommendations that achieve desired financial results. Establishes and endorses the business objectives, ethics and values of Harrah’s Operating Company, Inc. in accordance with the Code of Commitment.

Directs the Slot Service, and Beverage Service functions and ensures compliance with PA Gaming Board regulations, and Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board regulations as well as any other regulations as required. Ensures adherence to departmental/company policies and procedures. Reviews and recommends policy changes to the Vice President Operations. Capable of creating a World Class service culture. Fully utilize corporate and divisional slot resources to maximize financial and service results. Review and implements the departmental internal controls and security. Reviews slot machine performance and orders action when necessary. Recommends changes in the physical layout of slot machines and ancillary service equipment. Passionately pursues and achieves continual profitable revenue growth, increased market share and process improvement. Assists in the implementation of programs to improve service delivery methods. In coordination with Slot Performance, recommends product purchase decisions and refinements to improve the overall slot product & experience for the customer. This is a key licensed position and is responsible for the operation of, and conduct of gaming at slot machines within the facility. Will comply with RAMP and all Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Rules and regulations.

* Responsible for directing day to day activities of slot/beverage operations while ensuring security of Harrah’s assets, ultimate guest satisfaction and employee morale and is the final authority on questions of policy and procedures.
* Keeps abreast of any changes in the Slots or Beverage Departments of other casinos such as wage rates, expansion or alteration, or any other changes which may have an affect to Slots or Beverage operations.
* Prepares annual budget and operating forecast; prepares regular and special reports as required. Responsible for analysis of Slots and Beverage operations to ensure maximum profitability and efficiency.
* Coordinates Slots and Beverage operation with other departments including Marketing, to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
College degree required. MBA preferred. Knowledge of casino rules, procedures and regulations. Managerial, organizational and administrative skills. 5 years experience in a casino related capacity. Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of service delivery systems. Strong interpersonal and communications skills required. Strong leadership and customer relations skills. Knowledge of slot operations and slot equipment, experience in a property opening or major reconfiguration strongly preferred.

Is able to work in smoke filled environment and able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to obtain a Key license through the state of Pennsylvania.
