Job Description
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to assist in providing financial and KPI analysis to the business, investigating trends and discrepancies as appropriate.

Principal Accountabilities
* Produce and issue daily and weekly financial and KPI reports for our client, investigating discrepancies as required;
* Assist in the production of periodic financial reporting of our client, including interpretation of the income and customer KPIs in particular;
* Assist in the production of annual plan and periodic forecast models for our client;
* Assist in the identification and establishment of KPIs throughout the organisation integrating these KPIs where appropriate into financial projection models;
* Assist in the production of competitor analysis and comparisons on profitability and other KPIs;
* Ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications, skills and experience
The jobholder should be a part qualified accountant with strong computer skills. They should have a curious nature and the ability to analyse large amounts of data and draw out conclusions. Previous experience in a similar role in a commercial organisation would be advantageous.

Good communication (verbal/written) skills are essential as is a very strong working knowledge of excel, database packages and computerised accounting packages such as JDE

Relationships
* Internal: Board – reports issued, projects supported;
* Other functions – reports issued, plans and forecasts;
* Other finance section – queries, etc;

* External: External auditors – annual and half year audits;
* Key suppliers.
