The property is just 10 minutes south of New Albany, Indiana on Hwy 111.
Job Description:
Job Summary: Prepare food items ensuring all menu, health, sanitation and safety specifications and standards are met.
Qualifications:
* High school degree or equivalent preferred.
* A minimum of one year experience in high volume restaurant industry preferred.
* Must be familiar with cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
* Must be a team player, and work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
* Maintains excellent kitchen hygiene and sanitary conditions at all times.
* Ensures venue product surprises and delights the guests. Follows standardized recipes to ensure accuracy with food orders.
* Prepare food and cook food for guests.
* Complete all pre-shift work and break down stations after close following the guidelines of the open/close checklist.
* Any and all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
* Must be able to work independently.
* Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, 6 – 8 hours.
* Responds to visual and aural cues.
* Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as maneuver through all areas of the venue and kitchen.
* Must have the manual dexterity to cut, chop, stir, slice, whisk, pour, grab, grip, type, push, pull, hold, tear, sort, and reach.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing extreme temperatures.
* Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor via stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
* Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
* Must be able to work a varied scheduled, holidays and weekends as requested.
