Job Description:
Responsible for all aspects of membership recruitment and acquisition. Must be able to effectively articulate the upscale and exclusive nature of the Foundation Room. Owns the development and implementation of the annual House of Blues Foundation Room sales plan, to include sales calls, tours, membership drives and other outbound sales activities. Creates strategy for identifying new sources of potential members and proactively solicits new memberships. Follows up on all membership inquiries. Responsible for meeting stated monthly sales goals. Responsible for business outreach visits. Attends various civic and professional social functions to build relationships, foster new business opportunites, and cultivate a highly visible positive public image within the community for the Foundation Room. Must attend all Foundation Room events to create and maintain relationships with existing members to generate referrals and convert visitors into members. Creates and maintains periodic sales reports including weekly status reports of membership targets. Assists membership retention team as needed.

Qualifications:
Consultative sales person with a minimum 4 years of successful, commissioned, direct selling experience, preferably in a hospitality and/or membership sales environment. Demonstrated disciplined approach in developing and executing sales plans. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to interact with co-workers across all levels. Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills. A highly motivated and aggressive yet professional team player that thrives in a fast paced work environment. Must have working knowledge of Atlantic City’s upscale nightlife social scene and must be able to work late nights and weekends. Must be able to obtain a NJ Casino Service Employee License.
