Job Description:
Assists the Pastry Chef in the daily preparation of all items in the Pastry Shop. Coordinates and supervises the daily workload to ensure pars are kept and proper rotation is done. Confers with the Pastry Chef regarding all areas where pastries are served for their freshness and quality. Makes suggestions on new desserts and ideas to the Pastry Chef. Ensures cleanliness of the bakeshop, including the storeroom, freezer and walk-in refrigerator in accordance with City and State Health Department Codes. Adheres to Hotel Policies and all Food & Beverage Requisitions and Procedures.

Qualifications:
Graduate of a culinary school preferred. Two to four years experience preferred.
