To maintain the condition of guest rooms while adhering to cleanliness standards.
Job Description:
To maintain the cleanliness standards set forth by Harrah’s housekeeping department, based on 18 rooms assigned during an eight hour shift. Familiar with proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Follow safety, security and OSHA guidelines properly. Handle any BBP, Bio-Hazard linens according to procedures. Report any maintenance issue to supervisor. Proper handling of lost/found articles.

Knowledge, Skills & Education Preferred:
None required. Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but will train excellent applicants. Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
Physical Requirements:
* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
* Able to lift and carry upwards of 5-15pounds
* Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area
* Respond to visual and aural cues
* Read, write, speak, and understand English •Able to work flexible shifts
* Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations •Must be able to manage several tasks. •Ability to interact effectively with co-workers. •Must have a pleasant service voice.
* Must be able to stand and work on feet for 8 hours.

Licensing and Certification Required:
Employees may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license. The initial license is paid for by the employee through payroll deduction. All subsequent renewals for the license are paid by Harrah’s North Kansas City.
