Job Description:
GENERAL SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Model Bartender is to provide excellent service to all guests who approach the bar, prepare and pour drinks, and keep the bar area cleaned and stocked at all times,

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients such as wine, liquor and related bar service to guests at assigned stations.
* Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes; keeps station stocked with all liquor, glasses and accessories necessary; accounts for all beginning cash register bank, all cash, complimentary drinks and charge receipts.
* Operates a cash register, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change.
* Possesses a keen sense of timing and is capable of discreetly speeding up or slowing down his/her station as necessary.
* Resourceful with beverages, fruit and supplies in order to maintain low beverage costs.

Job Specifications
* Work requires 1 year prior bartending experience.
* Work requires at least 1 year previous money handling position.
* Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
* Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
* Must present a neat and professional appearance.
* Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.
* Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
* Work requires ability to accurately count money and provide change.
* Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Working Conditions
Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public. Requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 20lbs repeatedly. Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
