Job Description:
Job Summary:
Creates edits and publishes employee communication collateral for property. Also, serves as a communications support for Management to ensure that employees receive consistent, targeted, and timely communication.

Essential Job Functions:
* Writes, edits, and production of Employee of the Month and Supervisor of the Quarter publications, employee recognition, events and communication materials.
* Responsible for the creation of posters for bulletins boards
* Serves as a support in creation of property newsletters, Newsflashes, Buzz Sessions, and Corporate communication initiatives.
* Serves on HERO committee.
* Oversees all aspects of recognition and communication
* Oversees and assists with decorating, photos and execution of monthly employee events.
* Creation of decorative items for employee events.
* Deals directly with management in preparing written and verbal communication, event planning and recognition events.
* Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
* Others duties as assigned.

* Must be able to continuously maneuver around office.
* Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
* Respond to visual and aural cues.
* Able to work in pressure situations in a timely manner.
* Must be able to work independently.
* Must be self-motivated.
* Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
* Must have manual dexterity to operate the computer and other necessary office equipment.
* Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer’s needs.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years clerical and writing/publishing experience, preferably in a customer-service environment.
* Proven ability as creative writer, who can conceive, draft and edit a wide variety of communication collateral.
* Must have prior experience designing and coordinating employee events.
* Have a general knowledge in designing and implementing recognition programs.
* Must be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher).
* Must be fluent in the use of Quark and Photoshop
* Must have ability to take initiative, be very detail oriented, creative and self-motivated.
* Must have excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service and verbal communication skills.
* Able to manage multiple priorities in fast pace environment and work well under pressure.
* Must be able to work flexible hours.
* Must present a well-groomed appearance.
* Must be able to read, write and understand English.
* College degree preferred in Journalism, Communication, or English.
