Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal guests by displaying Spotlight on Success behaviors and FOCUS skills. Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Utilizes smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins. Is ready to serve and well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs and any other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs of the guest and provides fast, flawless service. Executes all service programs to assure prioritization of service to very best guests. Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Promotes Total Rewards programs and Total Rewards registration and membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Promotes Harrah’s and always projects Harrah’s in a positive light to guests.

* Handles payout of hand-paid jackpots in accordance with company policies, procedures and internal controls, as well as PA Gaming Commission rules and regulations.
* Responds to slot machines to resolve guest complaints and/or inquiries in a timely manner.
* Proactively builds relationships with guests.
* Resolves minor slot machine malfunctions, as needed.
* Notifies Shift Supervisor or Shift Manager of guest needs and requests and follows up to ensure position guest relations.
* Maintains slot floor security by notifying department management of any suspicious activity.
* Maintains working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, and local) and attendant regulations as well as company internal controls.
* Notifies Shift Supervisor of any pertinent issues, as needed.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
A completed checklist of the physical and mental demands incumbent to this position, as well as, working conditions under which these duties are performed is on the reverse or available upon request. Those demands and conditions occurring on a consistent basis are deemed essential to the performance of these essential duties.

Education/Essential Skills/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess strong communication and guest service skills. Money handling experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge required.

A PA Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position
