Job Description:
Assists in the planning, execution and evaluation of promotions & events. Interface with agencies personnel and participants in the coordination and execution of promotions. Initiate promotions and events from start to finish. Execution includes but not limited to swiping of player’s cards, expediting customer lines, hosting events, conduct and oversee slot tournaments, distribution of prize money and information of current and upcoming promotional events. Supports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions. Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.
Must be highly organized and provide timely information, updates or reports as requested. Ability to consistently meet deadlines. Ability to manage relations with external resources (i.e. vendors). Is action oriented; pursues work with energy, drive and a need to finish. Able to deliver assignments/projects on time. Sets priorities and manages multiple tasks and projects. Maintains composure in busy times and effectively uses down time. Works well in a team setting. Develops skills to handle increasingly complex matters with a decreasing need for supervision.

Must have excellent customer service skills. Personable and detail oriented. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, lift up to 20 pounds and work in a smoky environment. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Cognitive ability to respond calmly to demands of internal customers and work in pressure related situations; computer skills are preferred. Must be able to obtain La. State Gaming License and La. State Racing License. Must have a college degree or 2 years of experience.
