Job Description:
The HR Effectiveness team has three essential tasks:
* Analyze company-wide HR operational performance data to identify trends and exceptions and report findings to corporate and property HR teams. Provide analytical expertise and support to corporate and property HR.
* Develop and implement an Enterprise Data Warehouse and EDW based analytical tools including analysis process for use by corporate and property HR teams.
* Administer and support company wide feedback surveys to measure Employee Engagement.
HR Effectiveness Analyst Job Description:
* Generate and distribute recurring reports that evaluate Human Resources effectiveness, leveraging available standard tools (e.g. employee turnover, late terminations, etc)
* Analyze HR program results, identify key metrics of success/failure and communicate findings clearly and efficiently
* First point of contact for property HR leaders on “People Effectiveness Scorecard” metrics, conducting deep-dive analysis and providing consultation as necessary
* Standardize methodology for addressing common questions and ensure that consistent approaches be utilized across properties, regions and divisions
* Collaborate to maintain accessible knowledge base and archive of past analyses
* Manage applicable 3rd party vendor relationships to ensure on-going support in meeting HR needs; documents new programs, procedures or instructions
* Complete ad hoc data request and analyses and assist with raising awareness at property level of available capabilities
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
* Require bachelors degree in quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, etc.), and at least 3-5 years of demonstrated success in analytic roles, such as Planning & Analysis
* Highly developed qualitative and quantitative analytically abilities with demonstrated success working with very large data sets, developing tools for streamlined analysis, and creating reports that succinctly summarize complex concepts
* Extensive hands-on experience with analytic tools/software including Cognos Impromptu, SAS, SPSS, MS Access, MS Excel
* Experience in recognizing operational problems through personal observations or P&L analysis and recommending solutions.
* Ability to understand diverse and complex business requirements and conceptualize innovative solutions
* Ability to multi task, exercise sound judgment and prioritize conflicting demands of time with minimal supervision
* Ability to analyze/problem solve, determine viable solutions and craft recommendations
* High attention to detail and strong customer service orientation
* Team player with solid communication and interpersonal skills, good work ethic, and a strong commitment to success
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Must be capable of adapting to a fluid environment
* Previous experience in HR analytics preferred; no casino experience is required
