Job Description:
* Assist Special Events and Promotion Representatives, Marketing Managers, and Department Director with all administrative duties as they relate to events, promotions and entertainment.
* Help establish contacts in the market place to produce new ideas for on-going special events and promotions.
* Read and route incoming mail and faxes, send faxes, make/return/answer phone calls, send mail, and file.
* Prepare notes, correspondence and reports using Microsoft Word.
* Ability to develop, update and maintain spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel).
* Attentive to detail and possession of good spelling skills.
* Maintain a department calendar of events, promotions, bus schedules, junkets and groups.
* Track, monitor, and organize the inventory of promotion and event products.
* Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner.
* Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
* Assist all of the above functions for the entire Mid-South Region as requested.

Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
1-2 years experience in related field. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, and some holidays. Must have a positive attitude, lots of energy and enthusiasm. Must be a team player that exhibits excellent customer service skills towards fellow employees as well as guests. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and a typing speed of 40 words per minute. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. College degree or certified in related field or equivalent experience.
