Job Description:
Serves as a dynamic and energetic leader, while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. Works as a change agent and challenges the departmental processes to improve and streamline department operations, through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness and value. Demonstrates leadership skills in determining a vision, aligns and inspires the team to achieve the vision. Partners and Coordinates with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment, by well-trained, motivated employees. Embraces, role models and implements all elements of our customer service program including Spotlight on Success and Buzz Sessions, and tier prioritized service. Recommends and implements change to improve overall employee and guest satisfaction. Establishes and endorses the business objectives, ethics and values of Harrah’s Entertainment Inc. in accordance with the Code of Commitment.

Assists the Casino Games Shift Manager in the responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the table games division on an assigned shift, in accordance with federal, state, and local gaming regulations, as well as company policies, procedures and internal controls.
* Assists in implementing policies and procedures and in directing personnel in accordance with management policies and objectives and the efficient operation of all table games on a particular shift.
* Prepares regular reports on the status of each shift including level of morale, technical skill levels of employees, staffing requirements, and recommended instructions.
* Recommends policy changes according to procedure.
* Deals with the difficult circumstances that arise on the gaming floor in a constructive and business-like manner, balancing the interest of the customer, employee and company.
* Endeavors to build new relationships and cultivate existing ones by positively, enthusiastically and regularly engaging with customers while they play.
* Provides an outstanding gaming experience/environment.
* Ensures that all table games employees adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal controls, as well as PA Gaming Commissions rules and regulations, and Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Rules and regulations.
* Communicates clearly and regularly the department goals and expectations to table games employees.
* Aligns department to provide differentiated service to Seven Stars and Diamond customers.
* Listens, evaluates, and responds to all guest complaints and inquiries and exercises good judgment in resolving same.
* Attends guest events; builds rapport with premium players and handles any customer concern that cannot be resolved by subordinate employees.
* Investigates reports of variances and takes appropriate action in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures, as necessary. Ensures regulatory compliance with all policies and procedures and monitors internal control environment of department.
* Maintains a working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws, liquor laws and table games regulations, as well as company policies, procedures and internal controls.
* Facilitates the flow of information throughout the department and property by attending regularly scheduled department meetings.
* Ensures integrity and security of company funds and assets within the department on assigned shift.
* Responsible for overall department budgets, profit and loss statements, cost analysis, labor analysis, planning and promotions.
* Familiarization with all Harrah’s Brand programs and systems.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
* College degree preferred with 3-5 years progressively more challenging leadership role, casino operations. Must pass ManagerLAP assessment.
* Ability to understand and analyze Budget & P&L statements. Proven time management and critical thinking skills required. Must possess excellent employee relations skills. Must possess strong PC and Microsoft Office knowledge; especially Microsoft Excel.
* Thorough and complete knowledge of all internal controls, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board rules, company regulations and policies including Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively techniques and Currency Transaction Reporting laws. (MTL/CTR/W2G), MICROS RAMP, Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board rules and regulations. Thorough and complete knowledge of all beverage dispensing systems and point of sale accounting systems; maintains appropriate/accurate inventories of liquor and supplies, accurate food beverage cost controls.
* Is able to work in smoke filled environment and able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
* Must be able to obtain a Key license through the state of Pennsylvania and other regulatory requirements as dictated by governing authorities.
