Job Description:
Essential job functions include:
Properly clean and service guest rooms to specifications in and accurate and timely manner to assure guests of a quality product.
The Housekeeping Department is responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms for Harrah’s guests. The Room Attendant is instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and providing all amenities and linens to guest rooms.
* Properly changes bed linens, sanitizes and cleans restrooms, dusts all rooms surfaces and vacuums.
* Supplies rooms with all amenities and linens.
* Assures that every room is set up to procedures.
* Deep cleans one room daily.
* Cleans and maintains his/her work station, including stocking work station with sheets, pillow cases, towels and all amenities.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
EDUCATION: No specific requirements.
EXPERIENCE: 6 months previous experience.
ABILITIES:
* Be able to work with cleaning chemicals.
* Mobility and dexterity to make beds; dust all room surfaces; clean toilets, mirrors, bathtubs.
* Must be able to move 30 lbs.
* Must be able to understand and distinguish numbers.
* Must be able to understand warning labels on cleaning supplies.
* Must be able to understand direction from supervisor.
* Must be able to communicate with guests and understand their needs
* Ability to work in a "smoke-filled" environment.
