Job Description:
The Cage Cashier is responsible for the accurate handling of chip, coin, and currency transactions. Protects company assets while dealing with the public in an efficient and courteous manner.

Essential job functions include: Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift. Verify correct amounts of loose and bundled money. Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner. Balance markers in the marker bank. Make fills and credits to gaming tables. Prepare daily games summary on computer. Count revenue for various hotel outlets and prepare deposit slips. Exchange chips for cash. Stack and run coin as required. Must pull bags of coin off jet sort. Cash checks front money, issue IOU payments and credit card advances. Maintain safety deposit boxes. Makes credit inquiries, performs credit checks and other related functions necessary to process new check cashing applications. Communicates with Casino Executives regarding credit information when necessary. Creates teamwork by helping co-workers with essential functions. Balances all money transactions and paperwork. Must be able to stand for long periods. Must have a thorough understanding of Regulation 6A. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
