Job Description:
Skilled in mixing of colors to achieve proper finish results to all surfaces, including faux finishing, furniture refinishing. Skilled in brushing, rolling & spraying techniques. Surface repair including tape & texture. Qualified paper hanging experience.
Must meet qualifications of Local 159 Painters Union Contract.

Motivated, self starter able to work in high traffic areas. Ability to work around internal and external guests while maintaing a friendly and professional attitude.

Must be able to Tape and Wall paper.

Must have the ability to continuously stand, sit or crawl and maneuver in confined areas, i.e., ceiling, casino, elevators, guest rooms, kitchens. Ability to operate and communcate by two way radio. Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures. Ability to push or pull 50lbs or more. Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to continuously stand, sit and walk entire shift. Physical dexterity to reach above head, bend and twist at waist and knees to paint walls, use hand tools, use ladders, exposure to hazardous chemicals.

Responsible for all preperation necessary to ensure proper application of paints, varnishes, sealer and rust-proofing. Plans maintenance programs to include all facets of structural and cosmetic qualities of all necessary areas Receives, evaluates and executes work orders to predetermined level. Assists in evaluating and determining necessary procedures required in various areas of maintenance, weather protection and heavy traffic areas.
