Job Title : Support Technician Computer Operations II** Department : Information Technology

Job Description:
* Responds to computer system related support calls and insures that they are handled or escalated in a timely manner.
* Completes all shift tasks including completion of scheduled jobs, documenting completion of tasks and completing turnover logs.
* Provides basic assistance and training to Support Technician I.
* Performs intermediate level technical troubleshooting tasks on the AS/400, PC and RS/6000 platforms.
* Maintains procedures and documentation for the AS/400 platform.
* Locates and replaces equipment malfunctions as required; completes appropriate paperwork for repair.
* Prints and distributes output from computers; decollates forms and distributes microfiche according to procedure.
* Ensures the computer room is maintained and in a clean and orderly condition.
* Maintain the confidential nature of matters pertaining to company records, policies and customer lists.
* Available to work in a 24-hour, 7 day a week environment.
* Participates in the process to load code to the production environments.
Qualifications:
* Associate or technical degree in Computer Science or business equivalent preferred; basic analytical and problem solving skills required.
* Experience in the AS/400 platform a plus.
* Good customer service and communication skills required.
* Must be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee License.
