Job Description:
Responsible for the operation of assigned window, to include: the redemption of coin, fast cash tickets or chips, exchange currency for coins or tokens, issue jackpots and hoppers to appropriate Slot or Security personnel when needed. Ensures accountability of all transactions through verification and documentation of exchanges. Responsible for processing the fills and credits for the automated ticket redemption machines, bill breakers and automated coin machines. Issues slot counter checks and redeems counter checks. Operates assigned bank according to procedures. These banks may also include Main, Marker, Chip, Satellite and Master Coin Bank. Verifies and counts down the assigned bank at the beginning and end of each assigned shift and reconciles to the Cage accountability. Promotes positive interaction with Harrah’s/Showboat’s guests and employees at all times. Provides a fun-filled, entertaining environment for our guests through flawless delivery and execution of service.

Qualifications:
High school diploma. Ability to read and write English. General cashiering background from another casino or a certificate of completion from an accredited N.J.cashiers’ school or equivalent preferred. Experience working with business machines. Prior money handling experience preferred. Must be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee License.
