JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
Responsible for dropping bill validators from the slot machines. Accurately counting the funds from Table Games, Slots, Kiosks, and F&B.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Ameristar Black Hawk.
* Drop bill validators from the slot machines.
* Counting the revenues from all departments in the casino, both gaming and nongaming.
* Completing reported drop totals accurately.
* Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Cactus Petes entity.
* Proper transport of reported numbers to the audit department and Colorado Gaming Commission.
* Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Standards of Conduct, attendance, appearance, cash handling, confidentiality, safety, and sanitation.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

* Excellent Guest service skills; maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate friendliness and enthusiasm
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work and communicate effectively with little supervision or as a team.

* Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency
* Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including standing for long periods of time and some heavy lifting.


Required Education and Work Experience:

Cash handling experience preferred
Previous knowledge of slots and casinos preferred
Required hours (shift) is 3:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
